Treating people as they should be treated is how RESPECT is defined the Soldier's Code.
Today, we hear a great deal about respecting others and that is important. Nevertheless, one part of Respect is that of SELF-RESPECT. It results from knowing you have put forth your best effort.
At the end of each day, can you say to yourself the following: I have done the best that I can at work, at home, in my relationships, etc. If you cannot, do you take a moment to ask yourself, what you could have done different to do your best.
